Arts Market
The 2010 Regina Folk Festival August 6 – 8 was a resounding success! Located in Regina’s historical Victoria Park, right in the heart of the city (downtown). Over 15,000 people come from far and wide to take in one of Saskatchewan’s most spectacular displays of music, art and culture. This annual outdoor event features the handmade work of up to 50 artisans and crafters. Interest is invited and sincerely encouraged from artisans across Canada. This is an excellent opportunity to sell your work and gain exposure.

CRITERIA & SELECTION:
The Arts Market features hand-made arts and crafts from all corners of the world. Our primary basis for selection is the overall originality, aesthetics and quality of the work. We also try to achieve a balance in the variety.
We encourage applications between April and May for the 2011 Regina Folk Festival.
FEES & SERVICES:
The fee to participate is $150 (includes $7.14 GST). Fee includes a listing in our program, a 10' x 10' space, two chairs and one banquet table (only if requested). Extra tables are available for rent for the cost $20. We must have your request for tables and chairs with your application. Some electrified spaces are available and assigned in the order that applications are received – extension cords are required and not provided. Materials for display and weatherproofing are your responsibility. Nothing can be hung from the trees or bushes in the park. Please bring sandwich boards or other structures that sit on top of grass for display. Keep in mind that we are an outdoor event. Camping in the Victoria Park is strictly prohibited. Info on where camping is available can be attained by calling the Regina Folk Festival office. Vendors will be asked to donate one item to the Regina Folk Festival Volunteer Raffle. Promotional information regarding your merchandise may accompany the donation.

A NOTE ON COMMUNITY TABLES AT THE 2010 REGINA FOLK FESTIVAL
The RFF has decided to discontinue the community table portion of our arts market and focus rather on the arts market vendors and our multifaceted
partnerships with other community organizations in boundary-pushing collaborations. With the upcoming changes to Victoria Park as part of the downtown development project RFF Inc. is concerned about space availability in the park for the 2010 festival. We are also dedicated to increased sustainability and environmental responsibility by discouraging the distribution of flyers and papers that usually occurs as part of the Community Table format.
