June 27, 2008...BUTTON ART WORK CONTEST!
With the success of last year's first ever artwork contest, we have decided to do it again! We are on the lookout for fun and unique button designs to print on our buttons. Three lucky winners will get to see their work published and win some fab prizes! Here are the deets:
1) Submissions must be received by July 4th, 2008 at 12pm
2) Files need to be high resolution .psd (include layers) or pdf. Buttons are 1.75" and need to have a 1/4" bleed.
3) The only required text for submissions is that they must incorporate the words "Regina Folk Festival" (preferred) or "RFF."
4) Email: Submissions by email need to include participant name, address, phone number, and short bio (3 to 4 lines). Submissions can be sent to ariane@reginafolkfestival.com
5) Mail: Submissions can be mailed in on CD and can be sent to #101-1855 Scarth St, Regina SK, S4T 2G6.
Winners will be notified by July 11, 2008.
1st Place: Winner receives a single night ticket for the night of their choice, 1 piece of RFF merch (up to $25 value), and one of their buttons. They get 15 buttons printed that will be sold with our merch, their name/short bio in our program and in our e-newsletter.
2nd and 3rd Place: Winner receives one of their buttons, and their name/short bio in our program and in our e-newsletter. They will each get 10 buttons printed that will be sold with our merch.
